Monday Morning Guided Relaxation Class

Join us for a guided mindfulness-based relaxation at 10:00 AM every other Monday.
Since we have been sheltering-in-place since mid-March and dealing with COVID-19 related changes, we thought we can all use a bit of relaxation! Each class is 40 minutes of guided mindfulness-based relaxation. Note: There will be a special guest guiding our May 18 relaxation at 1:00 PM instead of 10:00 AM.
We will send the teleconference information a few days beforehand. Go to the link below to register.

Monday May 18, 2020 at 1:00 PM
This 25-minute guided relaxation class will quiet your mind, release muscular tensions, stimulate your immune system and take you deeper into yourself. The class is offered by our guest, Nansi Colley, Ph.D., Professor Emerita, School of Medicine and Public Health University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Colley, trained as a scientist and is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher who has been teaching yoga for 27 years. She applies her scientific background to the science and philosophy of yoga and weaves the ancient wisdom of Yoga into modern life. She communicates with great compassion and clarity and creates a positive and supportive environment in her classes that her participants truly value. This class will ease deep tensions in your spine and quiet your mind for the ultimate goal of experiencing inner contentment and transformation. The class can be done in your most comfortable chair or lying down. Join us for an oasis of calm and peace and experience an inner quietude and profound inner healing. There will be time for questions and discussion afterward.
